Summary Note
One Night the Moon Student Book is a study of Rachel Perkins' Australia film, One Night the Moon, along with several additional texts. It has been designed to fulfil the requirements of the NSW Stage 6 English Year 12 Standard Module A: Language, Identity and Culture. In order to develop their understanding of the relationship between language, identity and culture in literary texts, students will engage in an enjoyable and detailed study of the ways different authors use language to reflect and shape individual identity and cultural groups, before turning their attention to One Night the Moon.
